Imuno

IMUNO is prescribed for its great immune system modulator properties, as well as its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties.

IMUNO is composed of a unique and patented combination of three substances:

- Low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate (LMV-CS);

- Phosphatidylcholine (Pc);

- Vitamin D3

These substances combined together cause a great amplification of the effects that they would have individually.

IMUNO is a new type of immune support compound that targets the innate immune system. Unlike other immunostimulating molecules that target a single cell type (e.g. macrophages), IMUNO targets all cells of the innate immune system and, thereby, helps direct the adaptive immune system against cancer cells, pathogens pathogens and virus-infected cells, and cells that harbor abnormal proteins or pathogens.

IMUNO is based on the non-covalent multimolecular assembly of three components with known health properties, assembled according to a new patented process. One of the main novelties of IMUNO that differentiates it from all other immune stimulation approaches is the use of a new type of low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate (LMW-CS), a glycosaminoglycan with a series of healthy properties ranging from anti-inflammatory to antiviral, neuroprotective and immunostimulating properties.

Low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate (LMW-CS)

LMW-CS represents an evolution of CS extracted from bovine cartilage and, when compared to animal-derived CS, LMW-CS has a much higher purity and, more importantly for its biological function, is highly controlled and homogenous. . unlike animals, where the derived CS is not fractionated. Unfractionated means that it is a mixture of CS molecules of different molecular weights, on average high molecular weight.

LMW-CS, however, has constant molecular mass and charge density parameters, it exhibits a much more homogeneous profile and less polydispersity. Its molecular weight is consistently lower, allowing for much higher bioavailability.

Action mechanism

The original patented procedure allows non-covalent attachment of PC to LMW-CS thanks to the sulfation pattern of LMW-CS which is distributed over a greater number of molecules compared to that of unfractionated CS, allowing a greater number of electrostatic interactions. This functionality is not present in any other unfractionated CS-based compound.

Vitamin D3, being a small lipophilic molecule, intercalates into structures consisting of PC and LMW-CS in a manner similar to assembly in cell membranes.

The multimolecular assembly described above promotes the bioavailability of all the ingredients of the IMUNO formula, thus amplifying the known healthy properties of each with particular reference to the modulation of the immune system, as well as the anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and neuroprotective properties .

The patented manufacturing process offers the added benefit of nanoemulsion formation. It is well evaluated that nanoparticle delivery systems offer many advantages over conventional dosage forms, including increased efficacy, reduced toxicity, improved biodistribution, and improved patient compliance.

IMUNO acts on the immunological-neuro-endocrine axis as an adaptogen and can therefore rebalance a series of functions belonging to the fields of neurology, psychiatry, psychology and cognition. These effects are important not only in conditions in which symptoms related to these areas are predominant, such as neuroborreliosis, chronic fatigue syndrome or neurodegenerative diseases, but also in cancer.
